Flesh and Filigree VI

The party decided to go speak to the mayor and inform him of the situation with the abysslings. He told them that he was aware of the severity of the threat, but was unwilling to close the port out of fear of it causing greater chaos and more deaths than the abysslings potentially. The party informed Vincent that they planned on investigating some of the other names on the list of potential abysslings, but when they arrived they found evidence that it seems was planted hastily. Suspecting Vincent, since he was the only one who knew they were going to check this spot, the party looks around his headquarters. Samuel kidnaps Vincent's secretary and she confesses to helping write the forged evidence. Upon confronting Vincent, he admits that he has been staging abyssling incidents to cause a panic and raise sales for his defense products. Charles suggests improvements on his idea and joins him, while the rest of the party is forcibly teleported back to Death's Knell port, which has now become fully abyssling infected.
