[Intro CoTSS] A Stroll Through Nostalgia I (Abydos, Dahabu)

A lazy noon lull in Abydos is abruptly broken up by a sudden barfight breaking out, brought upon by an argument by Morthaeon and Zi’Khan over the latter’s status as a Priest of Almar. The resulting damage has the bar’s owner forcing the seven adventurers responsible into helping him with a last request. Arriving at the address provided, they find a seemingly uninhabited mansion in the Ruefang district. Rupert’s keen eyesight manages to spot a prisoner flashing a sign for help, leaving the party to (violently) sneak-in and investigate. After retrieving the three keys scattered across the mansion, using extreme property damage, the party is able to free the mysterious prisoner. Revealed to be the granddaughter of the bar’s owner, the entire family admits the con, all the while quietly bemoaning the state of the house. The old man still reaffirms his request for tomorrow, before sending the party off for the night.
