[Main Cotss] Greenwarden's Whisper VI

Fred and Cosmos determined that they would have their wedding the day after they got to the area, which would be after the rest of the party's first day of work. The party then began to talk about their accommodations for the work visas. Happi was adamant about trying to get special religious exemption for the uniform. The party was told that their job would be to crush crystals and obtain hydration because the water level has been low recently. The party was then told that as long as they followed the safety regulations which were in a large handbook. While some citizens were working overtime to create the lodging for the party, they decided to explore the shopping district with Johnisson. The party starts to look for wedding gifts and armor. There is Nancy who sells jewelry, there is also a woodsmith named Chuck. Serethiel goes to Nancy’s shop looking for magic items that could potentially enhance their charming abilities. Happi enters the store afterwards and tries to flirt with Nancy. He does not succeed in wooing her completely, but manages to invite Nancy to be his plus one to Fred and Cosmos’ wedding. He also receives a magical broach that helps increase his magical abilities. Kallax buys a considerate gift for Cosmos, and Veera buys an enchanted ring that also enhances their magical abilities. Erinacious bought a jade bracelet as a wedding gift for Cosmos. Kallax went to Chuck and talked about buying a great shield. Eventually, he ended up making it rain, and Hovaaru was contacted. Cosmos and Fred began to plan out the wedding. They first got wedding rings from Nancy after the others had been there, then they found a venue by the pond. They then went off to find their own clothing under the superstition of “don’t see the outfit before the wedding”. Cosmos has been planning the wedding with Fred, choosing a venue and clothing. They all go to bed for the night and early in the morning Happi is arrested for the murder of 4 fish. He is taken to prison and meets Ronnie the anarchist muskrat. Happi and Ronnie make a plan to try to convince Hovaaru to give up his ways; they wish to bring an end to the Beav-ocracy. Veera, Serethiel, and Erinacious all go to work. Veera runs into a workplace accident and is temporarily transformed into a fish creature and Erinacious steals one of the magic crystals that were being crushed in the factory. The wedding begins quite normally, with nothing abnormal going on. Cosmos enters, with a beautifully tailored suit made from moss and hemp fabric, with lavender interwoven. The rings are a pair of rings with a spider and a fly. Fred gets a tailored suit made from hemp, and manages to dye it purple for quite the pretty penny. The wedding seemed to be going well, Nancy arrived and was looking around to see where their date, Happi, went. Serithiel started to insult otters as a whole to Nancy, but as Nancy is friends with Fred, she shut that down quickly. While this is all happening Happi is executing the plan with Ronnie. They manage to sneak up to Hovarru’s office and have a conversation with him, Happi seems to be convincing him, and then gets charmed by Hovaaru stopping Happi until Ronnie snaps him out of it. Ronnie sees that the conversion is not progressing well and executes his signature move to knock him unconscious. When this happens, three guardsmen from the prison, Ronald, Regan, and Robert arrive at the scene. Happi manages to make friends with them and convince them to guard the path to the roof as he climbs up with Hovaaru and Ronnie. Happi announces to the entire Biodome that Hovaaru has been defeated and the institution is falling. The wedding is canceled due to all the beavers getting recalled to help defend Hovaaru and everyone in the party manages to fly up to the top of the Great Beaver Lodge. Cosmos gets mad at Happi for ruining their wedding and then the session ends.
